Microsoft is releasing a new version of Internet Explorer and this version is not yet supported by ECG’s major vendors. Microsoft states, "Starting on or about the third week of April, users still running IE6 or IE7 on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, or Windows Server 2008 will get a notification through Automatic Update about IE8. This rollout will start with a narrow audience and expand over time to the entire user base. IE8 will not automatically install on machines." Our Enterprise products (BANNER, WebI, Kronos, Xtender, etc…) are not supported with IE8. To insure you do not install IE8 select “don’t install” from the following screen when you are prompted:



Eventually IE8 will automatically download with the Microsoft automatic update service. To insure that you do not download IE8 please visit the following site to install the blocker utility:
